Other than that there really are only slight differences from this year’s model over last years. For one the “Sport” seems to be slipping into oblivion. There isn’t a difference between the Maclaren Quest stroller and the Maclaren Quest Sport stroller other than color configurations as far as I can tell.If you happen to want a color that is reserved for the “Sport” version then you will get the Sport stroller otherwise you’ll get the regular model which really is no different at all other than in name.
For that reason I am not actually distinguishing between the two anymore. In my opinion there is no difference between the Maclaren Quest Sport and Maclaren Quest strollers.

I don’t own the Quest stroller so I can’t say anything with authority on this but I believe the Quest is an excellent stroller based on my close knowledge of the smaller Maclaren umbrella strollers.
Basically the smallest of the all, the super lightweight Maclaren Volo and the newly introduced and almost as small Globetrotter stroller are extremely small compared to the Quest but even still the Quest is still one of the lightest strollers on the market.
There is a middle-of-the-road option in the Techno but in my opinion even the Quest is small. If you need anything smaller than it you should simply go for the gold and get the Volo or Globetrotter.

Where Can You Buy The 2012 Maclaren Quest Stroller
As you no doubtedly know the Maclaren brand is European and although they aren’t ultra high priced they don’t tend to be found for sale in most big box stores in the US. I am physically located in the US and I know. I’ve looked for them in stores like Babies R Us, Walmart, Target, Buy Buy Baby, and all the other options.
I have seen the Quest Sport stroller sold in a small handful of small independent boutique baby stores in my area but the easiest way to buy the Maclaren Quest stroller is online.
I tend to do a lot of shopping on Amazon and it’s listed there for sale for a good price. You can see current prices by clicking here. It can also be found at numerous other online retailers which specialize in high end baby items, strollers, and clothing.
The best price for the Maclaren Quest 2012 will frequently be Amazon. Many smaller online stores will occasionally have sales while some local shops may occasionally have the 2012 Quest stroller on discount but on the average Amazon tends to be the best.
In Europe your chances may be better at finding this in traditional retail stores but because that is out of my area of expertise I’ll leave you to your own laurels.
Overall the Maclaren Quest stroller is widely considered one of the best values for your money. It is small and lightweight compared to direct competition and it is a good price compared to the really expensive full sized strollers like the City Mini GT or the 2012 UPPAbaby Vista.
Although I do like this stroller I still think I’d like to own a bigger stroller for everyday use and keep a small Globetrotter for travel. But that’s just me.
